Welcome to the
Lebanon City Planning Department

Mission Statement

To provide the City of Lebanon with proper administration and planning of land use, to issue permits for residential, commercial, and industrial structures, and to safeguard the homes, businesses, schools, churches, and industry against unsanitary and unsafe areas in the City of Lebanon.

Message from the Planning & Zoning Director

Director of the Lebanon Planning and Zoning Department, Charlie Campbell

Welcome to the City of Lebanon Planning & Zoning Department website. The Planning & Zoning Department consists of four full-time employees and one part-time employee.

Our department has seen many new changes in 2008. I was appointed to my position by Mayor Lasley on January 1, 2008. The City of Lebanon also adopted a new Unified Development Ordinance that has specifically changed the practice of planning services with specific guidelines for development standards.

It is the responsibility of the Planning Department to provide Building & Zoning Code information to the City of Lebanon. Our office is charged with enforcing the Unified Development Ordinance, Building Code, and City Code Ordinances. This service will provide the City of Lebanon with quality construction and safe neighborhoods. It is our goal to provide our growing community with quality development that will be an asset to the citizens of Lebanon.

Sincerely,

Charlie Campbell, Planning & Zoning Director
