Lebanon City Court
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: How do I pay my traffic ticket?

A: Return your signed traffic ticket and payment in the form of a cashier’s check or money order to the Lebanon City Court, on or before your hearing date.

Q: Am I required to appear in court?

A: In some instances you are. If you are uncertain or your ticket does not specify, please contact the Court.

Q: Do you accept cash?

A: We accept payment in the following forms: money order or cashier’s check. We will accept cash if it is in the exact amount of your ticket cost and fines.

Q: What if I cannot pay during your regular hours of operation?

A: For your convenience, a drop slot is provided just outside of the court office. You may also mail your payment to the Court.

Q: Do you accept monthly payments on a ticket?

A: We do not accept partial payments for a traffic ticket. If you contact the court prior to your hearing, someone from our staff will be more than happy to discuss your personal situation regarding payment.

Q: My license has been suspended, how do I get it reinstated?

A: There are many reasons a person’s license will be suspended. If you believe your license has been suspended by our Court; or if you received notice of your license being suspended by our Court, please contact us during regular hours of operation.

Q: I’ve been ordered to participate in your Juvenile Offender Program, what is that?

A: Our Juvenile Offender Program is similar to that of a deferral program. Once you comply with the terms of the program, your fines and costs will be waived and your ticket will be dismissed.

Q: I need to get my license reinstated, where do I go?

A: You must appear at an Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicle Reinstatement Office, 531 Virginia Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana.
